One of the more influential contributions to this concern was an essay penned in 1950 by pioneering Pc scientist Alan Turing, titled Computing Equipment and Intelligence. Turing disavowed any desire in terminology, indicating that even "Can machines Consider?" is too loaded with spurious connotations to be meaningful; but he proposed to switch all
